Objects with a slower presence.
Each piece is shaped with restraint, leaving room for surface, weight, and use to carry the feeling rather than decoration doing all the work.
Bodhi Swan makes one-off ceramic work and teaches small, supportive pottery classes in Brisbane. The studio practice sits between useful objects, careful surfaces, and slower handmade rhythm.
Stoneware forms, oxide washes, and quietly glazed functional work made for everyday use.
Each piece is shaped with restraint, leaving room for surface, weight, and use to carry the feeling rather than decoration doing all the work.
Classes stay personal and beginner-friendly, with time to learn the wheel properly and enough support for people who are returning to clay.
Bodhi Swan is a ceramic artist based in Brisbane, working out of Brisbane Ceramics and teaching at both Brisbane Ceramics in Milton and The Ceramic Studio in Indooroopilly.
With five years in ceramics and a practice shaped by close studio learning, he is currently focused on stoneware forms and developing a distinct glazing language through oxide washes.
The site now splits the experience clearly: the gallery for finished work, the calendar for bookings, and the shop for currently available ceramics.
